The Bentley plays it cool, being one of the more understated hotels in miami preferring to focus on its guests than beating its name into the Miami consciousness. Sitting a couple of doors down from the anything-but-quiet TGI Friday’s (one of the two chain establishments on the strip), The Bentley is an attractive boutique hotel for a weekend away. The rooftop pool and Jacuzzi have uninterrupted views of the beach, the hotel has a (rare) dedicated area of the sand a couple of blocks south, and The Bentley performs in the bedroom with elevated platform beds. Plus, every room is a suite and each comes with a sitting area and an equipped kitchen or kitchenette (the better to avoid the hawkers on the Drive). Indeed, this hotel attracts the kind of client that has a substantial amount of cash in the bank but does not feel the need to tell the world about it, and thus adds a touch of class to otherwise flashy Ocean Drive.
