Berber Ecomuseum
The Berber ecomuseum, the first of its kind in Morocco, is housed in a restored traditional village Kasbah, and displays a collection of rare photographs of Berbers and a diversity of artifacts such as weaving and pottery. You can also visit the private rooms of the Kasbah chief and enjoy a fantastic panorama on the terrace overlooking the river Ourika oasis and the mountains. The place also offers accomodation – on a bed and breakfast basis – in the village, organize tours about prehistoric sites, visit sherperd villages and tour the Atlas with local guides. Best reached by bus or private transport.
