Bocca di Lupo

With a long dining bar stretching languidly in front of an open kitchen and large windows that let in plenty of light from the street outside, Bocca Di Lupo has become destination Soho dining. The stripped-down Italian menu showcases some of Italy’s more esoteric ingredients to great effect, using them in everything from bread and pasta to salami and sausages.

Bocca di Lupo was one of the first London restaurants to understand that tapas could be applied to any cuisine; the menu was groundbreaking when it first launched back in 2008. The menu today lists the regions every dish comes from; a nice simple touch that shows in-depth knowledge and familiarity with Italian cuisine, rather than just fiddling with some traditional crowd pleasers. The wine list is equally well-curated and has won plaudits across the board.

The whole Bocca di Lupo experience is as much to be raved about today as when it first opened – the food is delicious, the staff friendly and the atmosphere buzzy. Bocca di Lupo has become a London classic.
