This Vegas restaurant’s interior space, designed by architect Josh Schweitzer and decorated with Su Huntley and Donna Muir’s playful wall murals, serves up gourmet Mexican food that has its roots in dishes culled from street vendors, backyard barbecues and beachside taco stands. You’ll find ceviches, generous salads, tacos and quesadillas, and standout entrées like slow-roasted pork with cilantro and onions, and gaucho steak, a 16-ounce rib eye stuffed with serrano peppers. Be sure to save room for dessert-the Oaxacan mocha chocolate cake and the tres leches torte are muy delicioso. You expect to find ample tequila in a Mexican restaurant, but Feniger and Milliken go a step further, not only stocking more than a dozen well-known brands, but also listing a slew of additional tequilas and some mezcal.
