This tatty little sandwich bar is actually something of a gem, and serves up much better broodjes (sandwiches) than the exterior might suggest. With most under ?5, they’re good value too. The house special, named after the café, is a chunky hunk of Turkish bread stuffed with grilled meat and easily enough to fuel an afternoon’s cycling. The usual burgers and broodjes are all there too, and done a tad better than most similar spots muster. There’s no real space inside, but the pavement seats outside catch the sun when it’s out, and the owners are a sweet pair.
