Café Suzanna
For over a decade, Café Suzanna remained the consummate local spot for dancers from the nearby dance troupes, yuppies form the local neighborhood, and those attending performances at the Suzan Dellal center. Offering a calm, charming atmosphere complemented by appetizing lunch and dinner choices, the café has something for everyone.
The large front deck is a favorite spot for people-watching hobbyists, and is usually full by dinnertime. The dining room, outfitted with simple wooden tables and historic black and white photos of the neighborhood, is perfect for a business lunch or quick aperitif before attending a performance.
The kitchen offerings can be summed up as local, Mediterranean influenced cuisine with a touch of homemade cooking. Highlights include the lamb mini-kebabs and the moussaka. While Café Suzanna might not be considered as worth a trip across town, it is a great option for those in Neve Tzedek seeking a moment’s repose, and a quick bite to eat.
