Capturing the best features of the century-old building it’s housed in, this lounge/nightclub has played host to celebs like Jude Law and Jamie Foxx. A brick-and-beam loft-style space with 16-foot high ceilings and framed classical paintings on the walls, it has a wood-panelled front lounge with bay windows looking out onto King Street West. The back room has 14 tables with low-slung sofas reserved for bottle service.
The music, meanwhile, caters to house enthusiasts and is often accompanied by a bongo player. The outdoor courtyard (lined with trees wrapped in fairy lights) is a popular hangout for a smoke and quiet conversation. This is precisely the sort of place where men in tight t-shirts or suits come to scope out girls dressed up to the nines. Quite simply, people come here to pick-up and party.
