Considered one of the more standard hotels in the Atlas chain’s repertoire, City Hotel offers the high provisions held by its sister hotels without the trappings of boutique themes and concepts. Yet what it lacks in originality, it offers in location – it’s just a few minutes walk from the beach or the Dizengof Center mall; the heart of central Tel Aviv. After undergoing an extensive project renovation, the hotel’s ninety-six rooms feature hardwood floors and aesthetically pleasing, modern furnishing. The bright colours used in the interiors are surpassed only by the view of the sea afforded to many of the rooms. In an effort to appeal to business travellers, the hotel offers free WiFi throughout, as well as a couple of computers in the lobby for guest use. In addition, guests can request newspapers in their native tongue and if originals aren’t available, near-original quality copies are faxed and delivered to the room. As with all Atlas hotels, the breakfast is a treat, offering an Israeli style selection of cold and hot dishes on a daily basis.
