Supposedly, the staff at the Colony Theater is fond of referring to the theatre as the ‘Beauty Queen’, as she is 75-years-old (and doesn’t look a day over 20). It no doubt helped that the Colony had a facelift/renovation a couple of years ago. The Art Deco gem that opened as a Paramount Pictures movie house presents theatre, music, opera, dance, comedy and film programmes to a house of 430 seats.
