Having already revamped one of the more famous Prague restaurants (Bazaar), the Kampa Group then created a themed steak house.
Of course, this is a steak house with panache and style, complete with denim-wearing staff, cowhide banquettes, a funky bar (with sports screens), DJs on weekends and a summer terrace that offers truly formidable views – well, aside from the tacky plastic rotating cow that seems to be on permanent display.
More importantly, the high-end steaks (beef, pork, lamb and veal) that the restaurant serves have justifiably become the talk of the town. There’s also a range of other highlights on the menu: chicken wings, Italian salads, fish and seafood dishes and a variety of sides to complement your meal.
Plenty of Pilsner Urquell, Miller and fine wines are also on hand to help you wash it all down. More moderately priced than many Kampa Park spots, Cowboys makes for a fun night out.
