Eat A Peach

There is small. There is very small. And then there is Eat A Peach. A sure contender for the title-holder of World’s Smallest Bar, Eat A Peach is less spacious than the average ladies powder room. It is so tiny that everyone (being no more than six on a busy night) needs to stand up and step outside to let anyone in or out. Not to mention no storage space for drinks, which are kept in the sister bar upstairs.

Conventional? Absolutely not. This is after all located in Shimokitazawa, a bohemian haven of old school music bars, vintage stores and all things retro-chic. Fortunately, the Eat a Peach bar men are genetically endowed with supernatural skills to cope with the bar’s diminutive size: along with black clothing and piercing eyes, they tend to possess the extraordinary ability of leaping in and out of the side window while holding several drinks from upstairs in each hand – without spilling a drop. Every inch the ninja.
