The curiously named Eggs Sunday is a little out of town, to put it mildly. But if you’re staying by Film City (perhaps at the excellent Westin Mumbai Garden City), it’s pretty close by – just a 15 minute drive or so. Now, if you love eggs, especially on a Sunday – and let’s face it, who doesn’t – then this is the place to come.

Many of the city’s food courts offer complicated combo’s, but here it’s kept simple – it’s all about eggy creations – omlettes, scrambled, boiled and other ovoid delicacies. Fluffy, eggy breakfasts, lunches and egg meals around the clock 364 days a year, served up by smiling, cheerful staff who’ll whip you up a tasty snack in a jiffy.

The quotes on the wall are guaranteed to bring a smile to even the most hungover lips too: ‘an egg is always an adventure, the next one may be different.’ Say what?
