EMA Espresso Bar
Serving delicious coffee in beautiful surrounds, EMA Espresso Bar is unsurprisingly a popular fixture in Prague’s Nové Město. Unlike many coffee shops today, EMA Espresso Bar doesn’t have free WiFi. But if you want that, you can go somewhere else and enjoy their inferior brews. Here, it’s about enjoying the experience. Whether you’re tucking into a freshly-baked pastry and a flat white, or something sparkling from the drinks cabinet.
The space itself is high-ceilinged and white for the most part, save for the blonde wood of the family-style table that runs down its middle, the chrome of the majestic coffee machine, and the splashes of colour from the art on the walls. Staying true to its name, at EMA Espresso Bar you can partake of a finely-brewed espresso while standing or perching on a stool at the wooden bar. Or you can settle in with a book or some friends and while away the hours, watching the bustle of people walk by through the window, or getting lost in the friendly, calm hubbub of the bar itself.
There’s a whole roster of coffees to enjoy, from a rotating selection of roasters, meaning that there’s always something good to try. And there’s a menu of light bites and pastries to have alongside. After all, EMA Espresso Bar isn’t just about getting a caffeine jolt, it’s about enjoying one of life’s simple pleasures – and treating yourself to something truly delicious in the process.
