If you ask a local, they’ll tell you that even though Gelato Messina has seven stores in Sydney, it’s still not enough. That’s how good the gelato is there. And we’re inclined to agree. There are creamy, rich, delicious flavours like Dulce de Leche, Apple Pie (apple gelato mixed with pieces of real apple pie), and Salted Caramel & White Chocolate. Then there are the zingy, fresh sorbet flavours which range from Blood Orange to Pandan & Coconut. And while delicious on their own, scoops of Gelato Messina become outrageously tasty when combined. Some of our favourites? Mixing Italian Nougat and Tiramisu or Pear & Rhubarb with the darkly rich Chocolate Fondant. But in truth, there are no bad combinations, just limited imaginations.
