Ham Yard Restaurant and Bar
The vibrant and spacious dining room at Ham Yard comfortably seats 102, framed by a beautiful Martha Freud light installation and Crittall doors that open onto the terrace. Thronging with life, diners are treated to a colourful and lively setting whilst they devour the contemporary British inspired dishes on the menu. Try the Hepburn’s black pudding, bubble and squeak topped with eggs sunny side up, followed by a breakfast martini to start your day off with a bang. Suppertime is no less impressive. Start with the wonderfully rich port-glazed pigeon breast with chicken livers on rye, followed by the veal cutlet and veg or for something lighter opt for the delicate sea trout served with a delicious seaweed salsa and veg. If you prefer cocktails and a small plate, the barbequed octopus with pickled white cabbage, lime, chilli and mint washed down with an exotic tasting Mango Sidecar will hit the spot. Whilst the savoury offerings definitely outshine the sweets you can’t fault the classics like the blueberry pie and elderflower cheesecake with gooseberry compote.
