Hg2 : The Hedonist

Hôtel Biron

Burrow into Hôtel Biron, a tiny but tasteful wine hole in the exposed brick wall, and you will discover a mighty fine place to go drinking in San Francisco, a Parisian-style wonderland containing an art gallery, wine bar, light snacks and good music. The wine list bears the signs of having been very carefully selected by someone who knows his reds. Hôtel Biron is an ideal stop for a glass of wine and some intelligent conversation before dinner-you can actually hear what the other person is saying. But unless you want to chat up the bartender, bring your own companion, as the scene is generally fairly subdued-better for friends and couples than mingling.
