Hyde Park
Hyde Park, the park of parks in London, is over 350 acres in size, with its own boating lake, lido and numerous cafés. Next to Marble Arch is Speakers’ Corner where anyone is free to take to their soapbox (mostly it’s just ranting religious fanatics). Centuries ago, Hyde Park was cleaved in two to make Kensington Gardens, Kensington Palace’s 260-acre back garden (the palace has been home to Princess Diana, Queen Victoria and Princess Anne and is open to the public).
