The clue is in the name at Il Vino as it is the wine that matters most (here, and in life); as the only one of the restaurants in Courchevel with a concept that revolves entirely around matching your food to your wine, this restaurant is real foodie (and wino) heaven. It’s simple, really; you pick the wine and the chef decides what you should eat it with.
There is no food menu just a wine list, and to be honest, that’s just the way we like it! An added twist is to blind taste wines before picking one. Master sommelier Enrico Bernando can be credited with the concept, with resident Michelin-star chef Michele Biassoni to thank for the fabulous fare.
