If you’re feeling landlocked in Madrid and are missing the Med, then Jellyfish Café can bring you a little taste of the sea.
rnThe brainchild of two dedicated scuba-divers, Jellyfish is decked out with all manner of tricks to fool you into thinking you might just be near – if not under – the ocean. There are huge pictures of every type of jellyfish, the sound of the waves playing on a loop in the bathrooms and projections of the ripple of the ocean.
rnThe cuisine is a mixture of Spanish classics along with some Mediterranean specialities. From Thursday to Saturday, the place hots up at night as local DJs take to the decks to get everyone moving in this watery paradise. This being Chueca, expect a mixed crowd of gay and straight, all eager to dip a toe into this new venture.
