Kinugawa
Situated just a short stroll away from the Louvre, Kinugawa does sushi and sashimi with aplomb – its gorgeous and skilfully handled plates make for a welcome petite pause from richer Parisian delicacies. Though the restaurant has been turning out traditional Japanese cuisine for over 30 years, its recent change of management has left it sporting a sleek new design scheme, all black and geometric, as well as Nobu veteran Chef Ozuru. A new array of dishes focuses on prime raw ingredients, with offerings such as tuna tartare with caviar and grilled shrimp and minced King Crab with algae, cucumbers and ponzu sauce. Said to be a favourite of Gwyneth Paltrow, Kinugawa is A-lister bait for its style and high-end offerings.
