London-based design firm Campaign can be credited with the interiors of the Kirk Originals store, all black-and-white and featuring a dramatic wall of 187 ‘heads’ on which to display glasses, making it one of those shops in London you need to see simply for the store design. Furnishings? Who needs ’em! With little else to distract customers from the super-stylish stock, the design of the 66-square-metre store ensures that the focus is very much on the wares being sold. A window display of winking eyes wraps things up wonderfully, and lures curious shoppers in from the pavement. Forget contacts; we’re going back to frames.
