Kozicka
Kozicka (‘Little Goat’) is a typical Czech basement bar, a place to drink in Prague for the city’s locals, although it plays host to some tourists and ex-pats too. Internally, it’s not particularly impressive, nor does it really have the ambience of anything other than a good neighbourhood bar, despite being just off Old Town Square.
rn
rnBrick walls and basic wooden furniture sum up Kosicka’s simplicity and homeliness, but there almost always seems to be a pair of attractive Czech girls pouting in the corner, expertly sidestepping the advances of hopeful foreigners.
rn
rnThe bar staff are suitably blunt, the food reassuringly average, and the beer refreshingly cheap for the area. If you’re feeling in need of a break from fancier places, this may be just what you’re looking for.
