La Belle thrives both day and night. To better cater to its different crowds, it offers two main rooms: one that is bright, airy and freshly decorated; and another that is softly-lit with heavy purple furnishings and high-back armchairs. Its popularity has only increased with time, and La Belle has been around a long time, being one of the first coffee shops to open in the city. A nice spot for coffee and lunch, however, it is better known as a sophisticated watering hole. The drinks menu is extensive and padded out with a shisha menu, too. There’s a dedicated smoking room behind the bar – decked out Arabian-style – with plenty of booths for chilling out, and curtains for much-needed privacy.
