Le Cochon Bourgeois
Le Cochon Bourgeois is one of the most charming French restaurants in Berlin with a mass of creeping vines on the brickwork façade to the comical collection of pig ornaments inside. It’s a favourite choice for special occasions with all generations. The brightly painted dining rooms have a homely appeal and a meal at this upmarket French bistro is like a large-scale dinner party. A piano stands alongside the woodcarved bar and live music is played daily. Originally a row of shops, the restaurant opened seven years ago, and was taken over two years ago by Benjamin Stoeckel who has maintained the restaurant’s upbeat middle-class ambience ever since. Staff take pride in their work and offer consistently good service. Especially great for romantics.
