Leith’s School of Food and Wine
Leith’s is the best-known cookery school in London, so waiting lists are often on the menu. It’s right up-to-date with its demonstration theatre and teaching kitchens, but still retains a rather charming school-ma’amish manner. Cuisine is contemporary and international, but there’s a British focus with workshops in marmalade and curd-making, fish and game. There are also wine and champagne appreciation courses, and for those wanting to go the whole hog, professional courses.
