Lua
Slightly out on a limb, this welcoming bar and restaurant is one of the few venues still worth a visit on the Santos stretch. Fortunately the under-age drinkers and irritating bentos (yuppie rich-kids) have overlooked this spot, instead sticking to their usual neon-lit sports bars.
Spread over two floors, it’s spacious enough to accommodate large groups of diners quite comfortably. Red walls and aquamarine drapes, illuminated only by candles, create an intimate cave-like atmosphere.
The music policy is chill-out, lounge, funk and disco with live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The crowd is laid-back and unpretentious. Not the most inspiring bar in Lisbon, but a nice enough place to kick back for an hour or so.
