An inspiring addition from the Pubbelly group, this time venturing in the Italian arena with a more traditional take than their fusion sister restaurants. Keeping the low key, neighbourhood vibe with cosy red lights, massive chalk board wall menu’s and casual tables but delivering an exceptional menu from the hands of Michael Pirolo, formerly chef de cuisine at Scarpetta.
Exquisitely presented dishes vary from the girdle-busting slow-roasted porchetta to the more refined swordfish carpaccio with Florida citrus, watermelon radish & pistachio pesto all are as good as the next. Bowing to popular demand, brunch is now on offer on Sundays and the six course prix-fix with half savoury, half sweet will satisfy all your cravings and is pretty nifty at knocking that old hangover to the background as well.
