This very small and extremely popular DJ café/club fills with a fashionable party crowd of house music-lovers that come to hear regular DJs Krasnov, Fish, Hardy, Polina and Bobrov, as well as for the monthly theme nights of electro-clash and synth-pop from the likes of Zombie Nation, Golden Boy and Tomcraft.
rnConsisting of three areas, which only seat about 80 people in total, Mio is the perfect place for eating, drinking, dancing and chilling. As a result, face control is strict and booking is essential, particularly at the weekends and definitely for larger groups.
rnThere is also an over-21 age policy (although how strictly this is adhered to, it’s hard to say). The restaurant serves a mix of Italian, French and sushi if you get peckish; actually during the day it’s really quite airy and very clean, although the idea of eating lunch in a nightclub might put off some.
rnEntry is free, except for special events, for which there is a cover charge of 300 roubles. The entrance, on Apakova Proezd, can be quite hard to find, but it’s well worth it!
