For three centuries Stockholmers have been flocking to Mosebacke for a good night out. Today this large building on the edge of Södermalm fulfills many roles. Some people come to eat in the restaurant (weekend brunch is particularly popular) while others come to listen to some of the best musicians in Stockholm. There’s always something going on. Depending on the night you might find jazz, pop, rock, salsa, reggae, a comedy act or an Edith Piaf tribute show. There is also a regular line-up of club nights featuring international DJs. The names – including Raw Fusion, Club Rub-a-Dub, Genuine Soul Club – give you an idea of the vibe, but the website has full details. The clientele here tends to be slightly older than over in Östermalm. In summer the outdoor terrace offers one of the best vantage points in the centre of town.
