Hg2 : The Hedonist

Moti Mahal

Following the path of the Great Trunk Road the Moti Mahal meanders slowly through the gamut of Indian cuisine as so many London restaurants do. However, this is touched-up street food and rural cooking at its finest, brought to you by Chef Ani Arora who worked for the Prime Minister before moving on to the Oberoi’s Udaivillas. His cooking draws visceral inspiration from the markets and bazaars that line the 2,500km pulling dishes from the Punjab, Kerala, Lucknow, Peshawar and Rajahstan. Bursting with flavour and making use of seasonal ingredients Arora playfully experiments with a range of quality ingredients and spices that raise the bar on Indian cooking.
