After-office parties at Museum on Wednesday evenings heave, as you would expect, with suited and booted Argentines up for an après board-meeting rampage. It’s essentially a rectangular cell-block with three storeys of balconies, each overlooking the main dance-floor from all angles, and crammed with office workers.
rnEach of the balconies has a different sponsor and a different bar, but all convey the same message: get drunk with fellow workers, and then go home and sleep it off. Why would you go to an after-office party if you haven’t been working?
rnArgentines love letting their hair down, are always in the mood to party and enjoy practising their English on foreigners. However, be prepared to be squashed in for a long wait at the bar. We recommend you head to the Marlboro-sponsored first-floor balcony, grab a table and order drinks from the waitress.
