Namaste is one of the best Indian restaurants in town, and – testament to its success – boasts an enviable roster of Indian regulars. The restaurant is nothing fancy, but it has atmosphere by the plate-load. Set against a backdrop of TVs playing Bollywood movies, the menu is left to take centre-stage with everything from flavoured naan breads to clay oven-cooked tandoor dishes to feast on. Incidentally, the Indian chef is also trained in Thai cooking so you can globe-trot from the comfort of your seat in one indulgent sitting. The staff are always happy to advise on the menu, should you need assistance. You’ll be rolling out the door.
