Hg2 : The Hedonist

Noyev Kovcheg

The finest Armenian cuisine in Moscow draws the Armenian ambassador and various high-profile Armenian and Russian celebrities to ‘Noah’s Ark’.

Architecturally impressive, the restaurant consists of several dining rooms over two floors. Downstairs, a private area seats 25, but the main hall is upstairs.
rnColourful stained-glass screens and mosaic floors break up the predominantly beige and brown stonework and dark wooden furniture. A feeling of warmth, coupled with the hospitality and comfort, makes you feel at home.
rnThe food, like everything else in the restaurant, is pure Armenia and the choice of delicious meat and fish dishes is mouth-watering. Both the fish from Lake Sevan and the Kyufta meat (the pride of Armenian cooking) are delivered weekly by air,  keeping the ingredients fresh.
rnFood is prepared on large braziers, in open view, and the abundance of herbs waft their aroma over the assembled throng. Traditional Armenian music is played in the evenings from 8pm.
