The Old Mutual Theatre on The Square is a 200-seat often described as the life and soul of Nelson Mandela Square. The programme contains a range of domestic and international plays that appeal to the slightly more high-brow residents of Sandton. Pre or post-performance there are a range of restaurants in walking distance, the best being Wang Thai or The Butcher’s Grill (see Eat).
