Peacock Dinner Club
The first Peacock Dinner Club opened in Sweden’s second city, Gothenburg. Now it has come to Stockholm, to the delight of anyone wanting a great plate of tempura, sashimi and some sublime wontons, or just a late drink in lovely surroundings. The décor is stunning, with subdued lighting that gradually shifts colour, carpeting emblazoned with images of peacock feathers, and sleek seating upholstered in golden fabric.
rnThe kitchen is open until 11pm, after which the club functions as a late night lounge. No one under 23 is allowed in, which ensures a more mature crowd. And because it’s located away from most other late-night places, it’s not plagued with ultra-fashionable patrons. The food is so good you should go for dinner, but the atmosphere and cocktails mean that you’ll probably want to stay until closing time.
