A sparkling seafood restaurant in the Madinat Jumeirah, Pierchic gets its name from its location at the end of its very own pier. Views from the restaurant are some of the best in the city: set within the gulf’s tranquil expanse, Pierchic is poised between the hotel itself and the sail-shaped Burj al Arab.
Pierchic’s interior is chic and restrained, as its views are selling point enough (lucky diners will find themselves eating outdoors). Menu-wise, dishes here are fresh and minimalistic, including everything from pan-fried sea bass to sautéed tiger prawns, not to mention an impressive caviar selection. While the food is skilfully prepared and uniformly good, it’s the restaurant’s romantic setting that is its real draw.
