Port of Call

A good burger is a rare find in New Orleans, but Port of Call almost makes up for all the second-rate patties and buns. The massive hamburgers are made from freshly ground beef and served with a baked potato. Befitting a place hung with nets and adopting a seafarer’s fashion, the signature drink is the rum punch Monsoon. The Port of Call is a destination for both young locals and tourists, who turn the sidewalk outside into a mini-block party as they drink tropical cocktails and wait for tables.
