Reservoir Lounge
Décor is simple – brick walls, candlelit seating and a small raised platform for the musicians – so it’s the quality of the music that creates the atmosphere here. Tom Jones once took to the mic for an impromptu performance, and Canadian Michael Bublé promoted his first major album here in 2003.
The lounge has played host to a plethora of other celebrities, too, including Peter O’Toole and Prince. You’ll find a New Orleans influence in the Cajun food menu, while the liquor of choice is bourbon. A different band plays here each night of the week, sticking to their night throughout the year.
Monday has no cover charge, while Tuesday to Thursday is $5, and Fridays and Saturdays are $10.
