Ritz-Carlton Finance Centre
So far, so good; inside the shiny glass building are 341 extremely well-appointed rooms, 124 business-orientated residences, a slew of destination restaurants – including a Thai, steakhouse and brasserie – as well as an on-site spa and an oversized conference centre for all those BlackBerry-wielding white-collar workers. And they’ll certainly visit, thanks to the hotel being directly connected to the Dubai International Finance Centre. Our favourite features, however is a 100-foot wine wall that houses no less than 3,000 bottles in the hotel bar and an outdoor waterfall that drops 10 floors down into the courtyard that faces the lobby. Far from being a standard corporate stay, this opening has more than a little designer edge to it.
