Rocket breaks the mould of Milan’s clubs – it’s free entry with no obligatory drink, no exit pass, all in return for discorama and big-name non-commercial DJs.
Good times are to be had on any given night, to electroclash, underground 1980s and live bands. And with the same architects as Atomic and Cuore (see Drink), there’s a similarly warm, retro vibe – here from the 1970s with lime flowery sofas, faux flocked wallpaper and brown vinyl stools.
The idea was to avoid anything too contemporary and cold (and conventional) – and keep it relaxing and comfortable. People have become a little too relaxed in the past, even knocking a wall down by ‘over-dancing’ – just breaking the mould apparently.
