Jogging was once considered a bizarre activity in Turkey, undertaken only by foreigners, children and the criminally insane. Istanbul running club Adim Adim seeks to change attitudes with regular group runs through town and in the gorgeous Belgrade Forest. The Istanbul Marathon each October is the only event of its kind to cross two continents, as tens of thousands of competitors stream across the Bosphorus Bridge.
