Unlike the other listings in this section, this isn’t a single business but a collection of many. This vibrant indoor market housed in a redbrick building dating from 1888 has several excellent places to eat at, surrounded by the bustle of the market.
rnFor a salad and a glass of wine, visit Tysta Mari (08 667 5854).
rnFor seafood, try Gerdas (08 553 40440; www.gerdas.se) and Lisa Elmqvist (08 553 40400; www.lisaelmqvist.se), which are both utterly wonderful.
rnThere’s also an outdoor branch of Lisa Elmqvist on the square outside the hall called Lisa på Torget. Nybroe Smørrebrød (08 662 2320; www.nybroe.se) serves traditional Danish open sandwiches, of which each one is a little work of art.
rnIf you can’t decide which to choose just opt for the Dagens Tre, a selection of three sandwiches that changes daily.
