Sanctum Soho Hotel
Throwing televisions out of hotel windows may not be acceptable behaviour in most hotels in London, but that’s not necessarily the case at this establishment. Catering for celebrities and their wild-child ways – sex, drugs, rock ‘n’ roll, baby! – the plush property has all manner of amenities to keep its outrageous guests entertained, from in-room Wii consoles to a 24-hour cocktail bar. Made from two Georgian townhouses knocked through to make one gorgeous, sweeping space, the hotel has just 30 rooms but by God are they impressive; the two-bedroom suite is a particular favourite, with a circular bed and a mirror attached to the ceiling above. Ooh-er! A restaurant headed up by Head Chef Lisa Sutherland wraps things up, with a seasonally-changing menu that would please even the most demanding diva.
