A staircase lined with Buddha figurines and candles takes you down into this trendy dark den, which provides something for everybody.
rnThe dimly lit basement is labyrinthine, with different vibes pervading different rooms. The bar, with wooden features – completely bathed in red light – has non-stop footage of white sandy beaches silently playing to the soundtrack of the resident DJ.
rnA restaurant area, divided by sequin and diamante screens, serves good value European-Vietnamese fusion cooking, although the lounge area’s low wooden tables, set in private nooks and crannies where hookah pipes are smoked, are more reminiscent of a Shanghai opium den.
rnFurther on, there’s a nonsmoking tearoom with sofas and even a gift shop.
