Hg2 : The Hedonist

Stereo Kitchen

Curvaceous in shape and sophisticated in concept, Stereo Kitchen – at once a restaurant, bar and club – entered the Beirut nightlife scene in 2014 and quickly became the new place to see and be seen. Designed by architect Paul Kaloustian in collaboration with .PSLAB, Stereo Kitchen is a top floor, pavilion-like space with massive windows, inky metal ceilings and natural wood furniture. There’s also some nice light industrial touches throughout, such as the concentric concrete dining spaces.

During the week the atmosphere is laid-back, but come the weekend the beautiful people arrive to dance against the twinkling Beirut skyline. Meanwhile, the food is internationally inspired and, though portions can be small, they’re delicious – the mini burgers alone are worth the journey downtown. Just be sure to make a reservation beforehand.
