Stone Park Café
Anyone who’s ever been to Park Slope’s Stone Park Cafe for dinner knows of the great things they do at the supper-time hour braises, house-made pastas, and a small smoker in the kitchen that the chef and part-owner Josh Grinker makes great creative use of. But brunch here is no Kitchen Confidential throw-away. If you don’t want to take our word for it, then listen to New York Times writer Melissa Clark and Coluccio’s Louis Coluccio Jr., who says “I am not one for breakfast. Brunch is a meal I have learned to accept, even embrace. On several occasions I have been lucky enough to embrace the mid-afternoon treats of Stone Park Cafe in Park Slope. Partly because they tend to include more ‘lunch’ items then ‘breakfast’, but mostly because they make fantastic food that strays from typical brunch fare but at the same time is accessible and delicious.”
