Tapas Y Tintos
For an early evening snack or light dinner, look no further than Tapas y Tintos, the most satisfying of the Spanish restaurants in Miami that gets packed with Spaniards who love their Gypsy Kings, red wine and, as you would expect, tapas.
Located on Española way, it is actually the closest thing to España on the stretch. Forget the other tacky Mexican and eclectic restaurants (except Hosteria Romana, which is equally tacky but serves decent food) and come here, where you can perch at the bar or lounge at a table listening to live music.
This place is always packed, so reservations are necessary if you intend to go all out and dine here; otherwise, just turn up for some tapas and tintos at the bar before heading off to a more serious dining location.
