There are two reasons to visit Tauro. One is the delicious ground floor tapas restaurant, and the other is its sister ‘grill’ restaurant perched right above it, serving up a mean steak and a great selection of pasta dishes. Not wanting to stick to just one branch of cuisine, the owners split this former ballroom in two, with the downstairs of Tauro Iberico decorated in warm orange hues and terracotta tiled floors, whilst the more rough and ready upstairs, Tauro Angus Steaks & Pastas, provides the perfect setting for steak lovers to sweat it out. And, of course, they managed to accommodate a wall-length bar into the design while they were at it. A delicatessen adds to Tauro’s charm, and in summer you can soak up the rays in the outdoor beer garden. Did we say there were only two reasons to visit here? We stand corrected.
