Tea Parlour

When it comes to the interiors at Tea Parlour, one of the cafés in Sydney which puts tea above all else, think lace tablecloths, restored Victorian sofas, mismatched vases and a gloriously-feathered taxidermy peacock. Served on silver platters with soft, fluffy scones smothered with jam and cream, the high tea is the highlight (pun fully intended) at Tea Parlour which serves more than twenty varieties to choose from like Earl Grey, peppermint and Devonshire to Mongolian herb, Wuyi Rock or Quince Green. As well as tea, there are snacky plates of cucumber and ham sandwiches. It’s a beautifully-appointed parlour – the sultry jazz tunes playing in the background are the icing on the cake.
