The AL Hotel

A boutique hotel in size and feel, The AL Hotel can be found moments from the beach and the bustle of Rothschild Boulevard. Its location and its home in a renovated building from the 1930s make The AL Hotel a great jumping off point for a cultural tour of Tel Aviv.

The public spaces at The AL Hotel feature clean lines and plenty of wooden accents. While crisp white linens, rich leather chairs, and gleaming parquet floors characterize the 11 guestrooms. Although there is the odd jacuzzi and balcony to mix things up a bit at the higher end of the room spectrum. Ultimately, however, the rooms are comfortable and chic, and hard to leave, which works to guests’ advantage around breakfast time. All the rooms here are on a bed and breakfast basis, and since there isn’t a restaurant on-site, you can either meander a few steps down the street to the restaurant where the a la carte breakfast is being served (as part of your tariff), or just have the continental delivered to your room. Choices, choices.

But there’s no reason to leave when it comes time for the evening’s libations. The AL Hotel has wine bar and lounge, serving both Israeli and international wines, as well as a decent selection of light bites.
